This predates my color piece of Cap, going way back to my days working at Sony animation. Me and a producer dreamed of launching a Captain America cartoon. Mostly I was just having fun, and I realize that he is probably too anatomically detailed to animate for T.V., unless he was constructed for computer animation.
Hey, now there is a thought!

Hey, Vinton! Every year or so, I Google you to see what you're up to. Love the Captain America art. I too dream of one day watching a decent Captain America cartoon. Loved your work on Batman... at least when I had a TV. I mean, Batman and The Tick were the only two shows in the last 20 years worth getting up Saturday morning for.
